Hosted by Rockefeller State Park Preserve
Did you know that each month's moon has a different name? July marks the time of year when new antlers start to emerge on male deer, thus getting the name "Buck Moon". Join RSPP staff for a full moon hike on Tuesday, July 16th from 8-10PM to learn about the history of the Buck Moon and the Preserve. The hike will be led by Preserve Manager, Peter Iskenderian, and will start in the courtyard with some light snacks and refreshments. This event is free and open to all ages. The hike follows our wide gravel carriage roads and is relatively flat with a few hilly spots (easy-moderate hike). Please come dressed for the weather, will be canceled in case of rain or clouds so check your email for updates!
