We host a variety of annual fundraising events throughout the year and we need people who can help out in any number of roles. From stuffing envelopes to cheering on runners and handing out water. We welcome individuals, families and groups. Time required can be minimal, and you’ll gain a sense of satisfaction for having helped a great mission!

In addition to our annual events, we participate in I Love My Park Day, a New York State wide celebration of Parks and volunteerism. Held annually in May, this is a joint effort for the Preserve Staff and the Friends. Be prepared to get a little dirty as these projects are hands on.

Friends of the Rockefeller State Park

The Friends of Rockefeller State Park Preserve, Inc. is located in Sleepy Hollow, New York. The Friends was established in 1996 to encourage public participation in protecting the Preserve’s wildlife and habitat, sustaining its historical and archaeological features, and maintaining its unique system of carriage roads.

Friends of the Rockefeller State Park Preserve, Inc. is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
