Rockefeller State Park Preserve was recently inducted into the Old-Growth Forest Network, a national network dedicated to protecting native forests and creating an alliance of people who care about them. Our mission is to preserve the biodiversity that exists here so that future generations can still experience and enjoy its natural beauty.
Join us for light refreshments and live music during our Arbor Day celebration; witness the unveiling of the Old-Growth Forest designation plaque and help us plant a tree in support of this mission.
Enter the Preserve at 25 Sleepy Hollow Road, Sleepy Hollow, NY, where you will be guided to off-street parking. We will walk to the Big Tree trail from there, so please wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing; we will proceed with the event even in light rain.
Cost: FREE, registration required. Max: 40 people. Tickets available at Eventbrite
