Free Children’s Craft Workshop!

  • Rockefeller State Park Preserve 125 Phelps Way Pleasantville United States (map)

Looking for something to do with your children during their holiday break?

We are pleased to invite you and your little ones to a free craft workshop in the art gallery to celebrate the wild and colorful art of Dorothy Gillespie. Children will be encouraged to explore the gallery and draw inspiration from the artwork around them. Craft kits will be provided including cardstock, pre-cut colored paper, scissors, and glue.

Masks are required. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This project is appropriate for children between 4-12 years of age. (Use of scissors is involved.)

Please note: This event is limited to 20 people (total); adults must reserve a ticket for themselves as well. If you sign up and cannot make it, please cancel your reservation via Eventbrite or contact us at: events@rockefellerstateparkpreserve.org so the tickets may be made available to others who are wait-listed. Thank you!

Dorothy Gillespie’s exhibition, “Joy to the World” will be on display in the art gallery through January 30, 2022. The gallery is open from 9 am to 4:30 pm daily. All are welcome, free of charge.
