Tree Identification Hike

  • Rockefeller State Park Preserve 125 Phelps Way Pleasantville, NY, 10570 United States (map)

Join Flora Steward, Devyani Mishra, on a leisurely stroll through the Preserve to learn more about trees and other plants in the area and how to identify them, particularly in the winter when your biggest clues (leaves) are not present. The hike will be short with frequent stops for discussion. Leashed dogs are welcome. Meet at the Visitor’s Center courtyard. Bring water to drink.

In the event of rain, the hike will be canceled and a full refund will be issued. You will be notified via email the day before.

Cost: $3 + Eventbrite fees. Max: 15 people. Photo courtesy of Susan Lewenz.
