From our Friends at the Preserve
Do field work with Steven DiFalco, our Natural Resource Specialist, and our stewardship team. Dig and cut invasive vines and shrubs, and plant and care for native wildflowers. No experience necessary. Meet at the Welcome Center courtyard at 8 am. Please bring gardening gloves if you have them, and sturdy sneakers or outdoor working shoes. Be prepared to work outside. The Friends of Rockefeller State Park Preserve, Inc. is located in Sleepy Hollow, New York. The Friends was established in 1996 to encourage public participation in protecting the Preserve’s wildlife and habitat, sustaining its historical and archaeological features, and maintaining its unique system of carriage roads.
